The Lamplighter Dining Rooms offers the very best in accommodation in the Lake District. With all of the guests bedrooms recently refurbished, we have been sympathetic to the Victorian heritage of this traditional Lakeland stone building, which dates back to 1865. The Lamplighter is a family run hotel and, as such, has a cosy and welcoming feel that sets us aside from many other Lake District Hotels, with personal levels of customer service delivered in an unobtrusive manner. Located in the heart of the accommodation hub that is the Lake District, Windermere village offers a slightly quieter and more refined pace. Aptly named the gateway to The Lake District it is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area. Only a short walk from Lake Windermere and 2 minutes from Windermere Station we are set back slightly from the main village with only a minute or so walk to the local shops.
We offer three distinct categories of room (Standard, Classic, Premier), but with each room being completely unique, we would be delighted to discuss with you directly your needs to ensure that we reserve the perfect room for your stay with us.
