We are a traditional British restaurant, specialising in locally sourced meat and fresh fish from Fleetwood. An absolute must is our critically acclaimed Sunday Lunch, reviewed by The Guardians Jay Rayner (“a nostalgic sort of happiness”). We are also one of very few restaurants in Bowness & Windermere that will accept larger tables of guests and offer private dining options for Birthdays, Weddings, and all other special occasions.

Our Sunday Lunch menu offers the best cuts of meat the are has to offer and we serve this to you in the traditional style of the ‘Great British Sunday Lunch – family style’.
Bookings are required by 6pm on Friday, at which time you will also need to place your order for the meat to be served. Please note: On the day, it is imperative that you arrive on time, as the cuts of meat need to be prepared and cooked in advance, and timing is essential. If you have any family favourites, please do not hesitate to ask and we will do everything possible to accommodate your request.
